Our second day on the road was a whirlwind. It was another hellish day of being on the road,
stopping long enough for gas, grab food, and hit the restrooms. Sleeping on the
road at least was a little easier. We arrived in Charlestown at about 4:30pm,
and checked in at the Hilton. We had gotten hooked up at the Hilton through some
connections. Anyway, when we got there, they had
mixed up our reservation and didn't have our room. The cool part is that they gave us
one of the really cool suites, which was a private house on the beach.
We made good use of the beach and pool, and headed for the show.
The show was pretty cool, and the owner and manager liked our music so much that they
let us party after-hours there and drink as much as we wanted for free.
